Greater Lagos Fiesta Set To Return With A Bang.

Fun Lovers from Lagos, Nigeria and the Diaspora are set to have a time of their life as dates and locations for GreaterLagos Fiesta is announced.

 

The special adviser to the governor on tourism,  arts and culture, Mr. Femi Martins, announced at a press conference on Monday in Lagos that the annual Greater Lagos  Fiesta has been resuscitated after two consecutive years of break due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The fiesta has been scheduled to hold between December 29 and January 1, 2023 the 5 divisions of the state, Ikeja, Badagry, Ikorodu, Lagos Island, and Epe (IBILE).

Martins expressed optimism that the 2022 GreaterLagos Fiesta would not only have impact on young and talented artistes but will also be a boost to the economy of the State through MSMEs’ booming activities.

“Let me assure all Lagosians that the event will be well-loaded featuring live music, concerts, comedy and cultural displays.” he added.

When asked about the line up of artistes to look out for at the Fiesta, Martins said fresh talents and A-list artists will be live on stage. He advised that the list will be revealed in the coming days.

The Greater Lagos Fiesta began in 2012 to showcase the rich cultural heritage of Lagos which attracted tourists and entertainers across Lagos and Nigeria as a whole.
