What’s up with YANGA!

7 Dec 2018

Hi YANGA! rockers and welcome to the very first edition of our monthly newsletter. We want to thank you for rocking with us so far and hope you’re as excited as we are about where we’re heading. From bringing you exclusive slick programming to taking you behind the scenes of the best events in the UK and in some cases, worldwide. So, I’m guessing you want to know what we were up to last month right? Well, we kicked off with The Sammie Okposo Praise Party and what a great night it was. Gospel artists from different parts of the world performed including Onos, Tim Godfrey and other Nigerian household names.

We attended two concerts (Wande Coal and Simi) and as usual, there were great performances, great company and all-round good vibes. Our guy Mansour Bellow went to Dubai to attend the One Africa Music Fest and if you were glued to our insta-stories, you’ll know exactly what went down in those few days. The children weren’t left out as we attended The Tru Little Hero Awards. This was such an inspirational evening. Children are doing great things and it was an honour for us to be part of their celebration.

Other events we attended include Be Mogul Awards, My Dream Wedding Fair and AY Live in London. I think it’s fair to say that November was a busy month for us in terms of event coverage, and we hope you enjoyed being taken on the journey through our social media posts. If you want to be there live and direct, take part in our competitions… we have many throughout the month and you’ll even get to meet the YANGA! team.

That’s the round- up done for last month but stick with us, next month we’ll bring you our highlights of the year and a taste of what you can expect from us in 2019.
