Many things are going down about this time and the wellness and not so well of it is sucking me in. No matter what, I will always come back to you.
Now that the campaigns are gradually taking the main stage, supporters of political parties, groups and individuals are already taking position.
What I find amusing is the level of hate among followers; interestingly you will not find such among the aspirants themselves ó.
In Nigeria, followers of the 3 top contenders for the country’s presidential seat are always at each other’s throats always looking for a point to discredit the other.
On the flip side, the candidates are seen hobnobbing together, it will shock you to realize that they are even business partners.
There has been cases of physical assault, razing and other violent activities.
Sadly, the arguments are more often than not based on fallacies or unverified information.
On a few occasions when I was still of the world 😉 I had landed myself in unwarranted argument only to find out that my opponent was arguing based on a case that had been quashed in a court of law 2 years earlier.
I literally knocked myself in the head for such insensitivity on my part. I spent the best two hours trying inform one who has equally sealed his mind.
Since I chose to the spectator side of such conversation, peace has returned to my life.
I know this gist will not be strange to you but it is not to late to save your relationships.
Just pretend that everything they say at the bar is right.
At the end, the results will finish the talking in February.
