Life gradually return to normal as Covid-19 curve flattens in Nigeria

8 Sep 2020

Hi Folks,

I have been to over four states in the past couple of weeks in Nigeria.

A common trend throughout the journey is the non-observance of the Covid-19 protocols in most of these states.

The trip took me through markets and pubic spaces and people were seen swarming around each other like it was pre-Covid era.

The situation has been the same over the months and what is surprising the fact that the cases in these states are rather low.

Pundits have continually sort to know what could be responsible for this trend. Despite flouting Covid-19 protocols, the cases are almost nil in these locations.

Although I insist that Covid-19 is still very much around and we should abide by the protocols; the big question remains, why is the Covid-19 curve rather flat in Nigeria?
